Roses Are Red
With Valentine’s Day coming up on the 14th, our thoughts turn to love. Remember when you were growing up and on Valentine’s Day you might have received a little poem something similar to this:
Roses are red
Violets are blue
You love me
And I love you
Simple, but sincere. On Valentine’s Day, let us remember the sincerest kind of love.
The Creator of mankind said, “Faith, hope, and charity (love). But the greatest of these is charity (Love).” If you have love, you have the greatest gift in the world. It is more precious than silver or gold. To love and be loved is the greatest gift of all.
I’m sure you have someone you love. Probably a lot of people that you love. Maybe a lover, a friend, a mom or dad, a sister or brother, a child or grandchild. The possibilities to love and be loved are endless. But even if you only have one person to love, that is enough. Because love is stronger than any force on earth. “Faith, hope, and love, but the greatest of these is love.”
Happy Valentine’s Day! dear friends.
