March Comes In Like A Lion!
The old saying goes, “If March comes in like a lion, it will go out like a lamb”. Since we had a real snowy and blustery day on March 1st, we should be in for some spring-like weather real soon. And according to the weather man, it will be up into the seventies by the week-end. Yea! for spring! Let the tulips rise forth from their winter nap and cover the earth with all their colorful splendor!
I will be glad to see spring “spring” also. I love seeing the beautiful snow, but I hate the cold that has to come with it. It seems that the cold this winter has felt worse than usual (could it be that ‘age’ thing), and they say we are having ‘global warming’….yeah….get real folks…there ain’t nothin’ warm about what we have been having.
