Well, it is here again!!! My favorite time of the year. Although it still feels definitely like summer yet, fall is here and I suspect the weather will soon be changing. And all of God’s creation will be surrounded with beautiful colors like deep pumpkin orange, scarlet reds, dusty browns, and bright yellows. Fall is so short lived, so I urge each of you to make the most of it while it is here. Enjoy it in your own special way, weather that is the way most people do or not. People are not the same, and we each have our won ways to celebrate and enjoy life; I seem to prefer the simpler things, but however you like to celebrate, this season was just made for it!! So get out your “pumpkin sweaters” and go find a corn maze or a pumpkin patch to enjoy!! And don’t forget the candy apples!! And if you do get a chance to enjoy the spectacular views of the mountains, please don’t let it pass you by!!

We have had some rain lately, and it has brought cooler temperatures into the region; a sure reminder that fall and (alas) winter will soon be on it’s way. There is just a little “bite” of cool air in the early morning and late evening. The trees are beginning to turn ever so gently and some have already started falling to the ground signaling another approaching fall. I love fall and all it brings; the beautiful colors on the trees, the fresher air, the excitement of football season once again, and pumpkins everywhere. Ahhh, the delights of fall…..I can hardly wait!!!

Well, it seems the “unofficial end of summer” is here once again, and it is your last chance to get out and enjoy summer’s weather before “Old Man Winter” visits us once again; of course we are hoping for a great fall first!

Happy Labor Day!!!

Now that September is here, maybe the temperatures will respond in kind and we will see some relief from the extreme heat we have had this year. I always anxiously await fall and there is just the beginnings of the first signs of  it in the air in the evening.

We can’t seem to do anything moderately anymore, including the weather. We seem to have either extreme heat or cold with record breaking temperatures.

Now that school has started back, and with September here now, I can almost see those autumn colors and I can’t wait to go to the apple orchard once again!!
